AFX Airdrop Guide: Points, Season 1 and Safety
The AFX airdrop points program is active through Season 1, but no token claim is open. Review official rules, steps, costs, audits, risks, scams and eligibility gaps.

AFX Airdrop Status on July 10, 2026
Status: ACTIVE MAINNET POINTS PROGRAM; NO TOKEN CLAIM IS OPEN.
The exact project behind the active AFX airdrop listing is Anti-Fragile Exchange, a perpetual-futures exchange operating through afx.xyz and app.afx.xyz. Its official X account is @AFX_XYZ and its documentation is at docs.afx.xyz. It is not afx.com, American Financial Exchange, AFX Markets, AFX Racing, or an unrelated token that happens to use the AFX ticker. No official AFX token contract or claim page is live as of this review.
New participation is meaningful, but only in a narrow and high-risk sense. AFX Season 1 began May 25, 2026 and officially ends July 20, 2026. The official app still says Season 1 is live, while the documentation says the broader program has three consecutive seasons and that points do not reset or expire between them. A new eligible user can therefore still earn points before the current weekly pools close and may participate in later seasons. Starting now cannot recover earlier weekly allocations, and it does not guarantee enough tokens to offset trading or vault losses.
This is not a free social quest. The practical earning routes involve real USDC: trading leveraged perpetuals, depositing into the AFX LP Vault, or trading as part of a qualifying Guild. AFX says points convert into governance tokens at the token generation event, but the points-to-token rate and claim process remain unannounced. There is no TGE date, allocation checker, claim contract, market value, or guaranteed individual reward. Treat every point as an unpriced and potentially worthless bonus.
What Is AFX?
AFX describes itself as a sovereign Layer 1 purpose-built for decentralized derivatives. Its user-facing product is a USDC-margined perpetual DEX with onchain-verifiable matching and settlement, zero-gas trading on its execution layer, and markets covering crypto as well as synthetic commodity, equity, and ETF perpetuals. Deposits enter through Arbitrum in USDC. The platform advertises leverage of up to 100x, although each market and risk tier can impose a lower limit.
The name Anti-Fragile Exchange is important for identity resolution. The official website links directly to app.afx.xyz, docs.afx.xyz, github.com/afx-dex, the @AFX_XYZ X account, and the project Discord. DeFiLlama independently tracks AFX under the derivatives category and, at the time reviewed, displayed about $20.74 million in TVL, approximately $1.159 billion in 30-day perpetual volume, and about $2.02 million in open interest. Those figures support that a functioning product exists, but they do not prove solvency, safety, decentralization, or future token value.
AFX says it is self-funded and has no venture-capital or private funding rounds. Its core-contributors page describes industry experience but does not name the individuals. That means users cannot independently evaluate a conventional public team history from the documentation alone. A no-VC narrative may reduce private-investor allocation concerns, but it does not replace transparent governance, legal disclosures, independent audits, or operational accountability.
Is the AFX Airdrop Confirmed?
A future token distribution tied to points is officially stated. The AFX website says about 65% of token supply goes to the community and that all season points are convertible to AFX governance tokens at TGE. The points documentation repeats that contributions are converted into governance tokens and says testnet retroactive points join the final calculation. This is stronger evidence than a purely speculative retroactive-airdrop rumor.
However, "confirmed" must not be stretched beyond those statements. The team has not published the conversion rate, minimum eligibility, token contract, TGE date, claim deadline, final anti-Sybil results, token price, or complete claim procedure. AFX also reserves the right to adjust scoring priorities and revoke points it considers manipulative or harmful. A points balance is not yet a transferable token or enforceable dollar amount.
The third-party airdrop listing shows an end date of November 25, 2026 and mentions a 27% Genesis allocation. The official Season 1 documentation supports July 20 for Season 1, but the materials reviewed do not establish November 25 as the official end of the entire program. Do not plan around an aggregator countdown. Follow the live app, official documentation, and @AFX_XYZ for Season 2, Season 3, TGE, and claim announcements.
How AFX Points Work
The official app displays 10 million total points for the program. The documentation gives Season 1 a total of 3.8 million points: 2,885,714 for the combined trading and LP Vault pool, plus 914,286 for the Guild pool. Each week, 360,714 points are assigned to the combined trading and vault pool and 114,286 to Guilds. Activity runs Monday 00:00 UTC through Sunday 23:59 UTC, with calculation and distribution in the following week.
Trading and LP deposits share one pool, and AFX can change the weekly split between them based on protocol conditions. Trading scores consider execution, positions held over time, and market diversity. Manual traders and API users compete in separate sub-pools. The exact weights, formulas, coefficients, API limits, and anti-abuse parameters are intentionally private. Generating a specified dollar volume therefore does not guarantee a specified number of points.
Vault points are based on contribution to liquidity depth and time in the AFX LP Vault. Trading and vault activity can both count, but they still share the combined weekly pool. The vault documentation says deposits are in USDC, have no stated minimum beyond transaction requirements, and are locked for four days before becoming withdrawable. The vault earns from fee sharing, liquidation activity, and strategies managed through sub-vaults. Yield is variable, not guaranteed principal protection.
Guild points form a separate team competition. Guilds rank by weekly trading volume, and the top 50 split the pool by tier. A qualifying Guild must have at least 10 genuinely active members, each generating at least $1,000 in weekly trading volume. Captains take a defined percentage and members split the remainder according to their contribution. Joining a Guild does not create free points if the Guild or member activity fails the rules.
Is Starting Late Worth It?
As of July 10, Season 1 has about ten days remaining, covering the balance of the current week and the final weekly period before July 20. Because each week has a fixed pool, those remaining periods can still reward new activity. Points also carry into later seasons at the same unified TGE rate, so a late Season 1 start does not invalidate future participation.
Late participation is not economically attractive by default. Earlier users had more weekly pools, and every weekly allocation is competitive. A new user cannot calculate expected token value because the conversion rate, future token price, eligible point total, and exclusions are unknown. Increasing leverage, volume, or vault size to catch up converts uncertain upside into immediate and measurable risk.
A sensible decision rule is utility first. Trade only if you already understand and want the perpetual position without an airdrop. Deposit into the vault only if its strategy, lock, and loss risk fit your plan without points. If the activity has no independent value to you, skip it. There is no zero-capital route that justifies taking unfamiliar derivatives risk for a speculative reward.
Safety-First AFX Airdrop Guide
1. Verify the Exact Project and Domains
Type https://afx.xyz/ yourself and use its links to the app and docs. Confirm that the trading destination is https://app.afx.xyz/ and that X announcements come from https://x.com/AFX_XYZ. Avoid afx.com, similarly named brokers, search ads, shortened URLs, and direct-message links. Bookmark the verified pages after checking them. Never select a token contract from a third-party list because the official AFX token is not live.
2. Confirm Legal Eligibility Before Connecting
The public documentation index reviewed for this guide did not provide a detailed Terms of Use page or a clear country list. That is an information gap, not permission to participate from everywhere. Perpetual derivatives can be restricted or regulated based on residence, citizenship, or location. Check the live app for current notices and obtain independent legal guidance if uncertain. Do not use a VPN, false identity, borrowed account, or intermediary wallet to bypass a block.
3. Understand the Security Scope
AFX publishes a Zellic audit for its bridge contract, but its audit page explicitly says this is not a full-platform audit of every AFX component. The reviewed materials did not identify a public Immunefi, Cantina, or Sherlock bounty. The order book, chain, account system, vault strategies, oracle handling, liquidation engine, front end, and operational controls can carry risks beyond a bridge-contract review. An audit reduces neither exploit probability nor loss to zero.
4. Use a Dedicated Low-Value Wallet or Login
AFX supports email login and Web3 wallets. If using a wallet, choose one without savings, valuable NFTs, or broad approvals. Store its recovery phrase offline and never provide it to AFX, Discord moderators, a points checker, or support. Review every signature and transaction. A separate wallet limits the assets exposed to phishing or malicious permissions but cannot protect funds already deposited into a vulnerable protocol.
5. Fund Through Arbitrum Carefully
The official onboarding route uses USDC through Arbitrum. Confirm the token, source network, destination, and address in the live app. Send a small test amount first and verify that it credits correctly before considering more. Keep bridge and network costs in the budget. Do not send USDC on another network merely because a copied address looks compatible, and do not transfer funds to a private address offered by a support account.
6. Choose One Activity You Actually Understand
For trading, select a liquid market, use the lowest practical leverage, keep position size small, and learn mark price, funding, maintenance margin, liquidation, order types, and slippage before opening a position. For the LP Vault, read the four-day lock and strategy mechanics first. For Guilds, use an invitation found through the official community and understand that volume thresholds and captain shares apply. There is no need to combine all routes.
7. Monitor Risk, Not Just Points
Watch open positions, margin ratio, funding, and account equity. AFX triggers liquidation when the documented margin ratio reaches 100%, and actual liquidation depends on real-time conditions. Email warnings, stop orders, or displayed liquidation estimates can fail to prevent losses during fast markets. Close risk when your independent trade plan says to close it; do not hold a losing position merely to add open-interest weight.
8. Check Weekly Credits and Keep Records
Points are not instant. Check the official Points page after the next weekly calculation and save the relevant dates, deposits, trades, transaction hashes, and displayed balance. Do not churn additional volume because a pending estimate is blank. Estimates can differ from final points, and AFX states that final published distributions and anti-Sybil decisions control.
9. Exit Deliberately
Cancel unneeded orders, close positions, account for pending funding, and withdraw capital you no longer intend to risk. Vault funds cannot be withdrawn before the four-day lock expires, and liquidity availability can affect processing. Verify the destination network and address. Revoke permissions that are no longer required and retain records for tax or compliance obligations.
Costs and Risks
AFX trading is described as zero gas on its execution layer, but participation is not free. The documentation lists a standard taker fee of 0.06% and maker fee of 0.01%, subject to current tier and product rules. A round trip can pay fees twice, plus spread and slippage. Perpetual funding settles periodically and can accumulate against a position. Market losses and liquidation can dwarf all explicit fees.
Trading loss: adverse market movement is magnified by leverage and can consume all posted collateral.
Liquidation and ADL: forced closure can occur at the maintenance threshold, while auto-deleveraging can apply in extreme conditions.
Funding and execution: funding, spread, slippage, thin liquidity, oracle movement, and order behavior can make a position more expensive than expected.
Vault loss: ALP absorbs market-making and liquidation risk; strategy losses can reduce NAV and a displayed APY is neither fixed nor guaranteed.
Lock and liquidity risk: LP deposits have a four-day lock, and sub-vault positions may need to be closed to satisfy withdrawals.
Bridge and smart-contract risk: the bridge audit is limited in scope, and bugs, upgrades, compromised keys, or chain failures can still cause loss.
Stablecoin risk: USDC can face issuer, freeze, depeg, bridge, or network risks.
Rule risk: AFX can adjust weekly priorities, private scoring factors, and anti-Sybil treatment, leaving activity with fewer or no points.
Token uncertainty: no conversion rate, TGE date, token value, or guaranteed claim eligibility has been published.
Legal and tax risk: derivatives access and rewards can create restrictions, reporting duties, or taxable events depending on jurisdiction.
Set a maximum loss before depositing and assume the token reward will be zero. Do not borrow, use rent or emergency funds, or increase leverage to improve a leaderboard position. If fees, funding, and a modest adverse move make participation unacceptable without a future token, the position is too risky for a points campaign.
Sybil and Fairness Rules
AFX applies a private "Real Score" multiplier and says it analyzes wash trading, self-trading, coordinated wallet clusters, abnormal patterns, and bot activity. Suspicious accounts can receive reduced allocations or complete exclusion. Referral rewards are also subject to anti-Sybil checks. Because detection parameters are intentionally secret, no farming recipe can guarantee eligibility.
Use one genuine account unless current official rules expressly authorize another structure.
Do not self-trade, wash trade, or coordinate opposite accounts to manufacture volume.
Do not split one budget across wallet clusters designed to imitate unrelated users.
Do not self-refer, buy referrals, or use inactive placeholder accounts to qualify a Guild.
Do not run bots or API strategies without understanding the separate API pool and current platform rules.
Do not buy points, accounts, aged wallets, identities, or supposed anti-Sybil bypasses.
Make genuine trades with an independent rationale and accept that records do not guarantee a reward.
Trying to optimize around hidden filters adds cost and disqualification risk. Organic, proportionate use is safer, but even authentic users have no guaranteed token entitlement. AFX retains final discretion over harmful or manipulative behavior.
AFX Airdrop Scams to Avoid
Fake AFX Tokens, Presales, and Claims
No official token contract, presale, allocation checker, or claim page is live. An AFX token on a DEX or in your wallet can be unrelated or malicious. Do not swap it, approve it, or visit a URL embedded in its name. Wait for consistent publication through afx.xyz, docs.afx.xyz, the app, and @AFX_XYZ.
Points Correction and Support Scams
A scammer may impersonate a moderator and offer to restore missing weekly points. Never provide a seed phrase, private key, screen-sharing session, remote access, or a verification payment. Use support links reached from the official site or app and share only the minimum public transaction information needed.
Malicious Guild and Referral Links
Guild invitations can be used as phishing bait. Confirm the final destination is the official AFX app before connecting. Reject unexplained token approvals or signatures. A legitimate captain does not need custody of your wallet or a transfer to enroll you.
Guaranteed APY or Token-Value Claims
Vault returns vary with strategies and market conditions, while point value is unknown. Screenshots of a current APY, an OTC points quote, or an influencer price target are not guarantees. Nobody can know your final token allocation before AFX publishes the conversion and claim rules.

Frequently Asked Questions
1. Is the AFX airdrop active?
The official AFX points program is active. Season 1 runs through July 20, 2026, and points are intended to convert into governance tokens at TGE. There is no live token claim.
2. Can a new user still participate?
Yes, subject to platform access and local law. Remaining Season 1 weekly pools and later seasons make new participation possible, but earlier distributions cannot be recovered.
3. Are AFX points guaranteed to become tokens?
AFX officially says points convert at TGE, but it has not published the rate, final eligibility, claim process, or TGE date. A displayed balance does not guarantee value or profit.
4. How do users earn AFX points?
Through genuine perpetual trading, time-weighted AFX LP Vault deposits, and qualifying Guild activity. The routes can be combined, but trading and LP points share one weekly pool.
5. Is the AFX airdrop free?
No. Meaningful earning routes require real trading or liquidity activity. Users face fees, funding, market loss, liquidation, vault, bridge, stablecoin, and opportunity costs.
6. What network and asset are used?
The official onboarding documentation says to deposit USDC through Arbitrum into the AFX trading account.
7. Is AFX audited?
Zellic audited the bridge contract. AFX explicitly says that report is not a full-platform audit, so it should not be presented as coverage of the entire exchange or vault system.
8. How long are LP Vault deposits locked?
The official LP Vault documentation states four days before a deposit becomes withdrawable. Withdrawal liquidity and strategy positions can still affect processing.
9. Is there an official AFX token contract or checker?
No official token contract, final allocation checker, or claim page was identified as of July 10, 2026. Treat similarly named tokens and claim sites as unverified.
10. What is the safest strategy?
Use official links, confirm legal access, use a low-value wallet, make only trades or deposits you independently understand, keep risk small, avoid Sybil behavior, and assume points may ultimately be worth zero.
