The opportunity must be described accurately. Soneium Score is an official engagement and badge program operated by Sony Block Solutions Labs Pte. Ltd. It is not official evidence of a future Soneium token. Soneium’s original Score announcement explicitly said the program is “not just another reward system or one-time airdrop,” and the Score terms define its reward as a soulbound non-fungible token badge. The official website, documentation, portal and @Soneium account reviewed for this article do not announce a native token, token-generation event, allocation checker, snapshot or token claim.

What Is Soneium Score?

Soneium is an Ethereum Layer 2 developed by Sony Block Solutions Labs. Soneium Score is its official proof-of-contribution-style dashboard at portal.soneium.org. After a user connects a compatible wallet, the portal visualizes activity associated with that public address and calculates an Engagement Score under a methodology controlled by SBS Labs. The Score is seasonal rather than a permanent balance: each 28-day period brings a new score, partners, missions and badge opportunity.

Season 12 calculates the displayed result from four components. Activity Score considers transactions, unique active days and streaks. Liquidity Score recognizes eligible liquidity or total-value-locked contributions across integrated protocols. NFT Score considers qualifying Sony and Soneium ecosystem NFT holdings. Bonus Score rewards specified interactions with the season’s featured projects. The portal is the authoritative place to see what is recognized for a connected wallet; old guides and screenshots may describe prior partners or weights.

The official threshold for the Season 12 badge is 80 out of 100. The badge is a Soulbound Token, or SBT: it is permanently tied to the wallet that claims it and cannot be transferred like an ordinary NFT. Season 12 uses two minting stages. Wallets scoring 84–100 receive the first two-week minting window; wallets scoring 80–83 receive access after that stage closes. Both groups receive the same Season 12 badge. Qualification is not an allocation of coins, cash or an investment product.

Is a Soneium Airdrop Confirmed?

The official Season 12 post also names Startale App as the home base. Avoid sponsored search results, shortened links and unsolicited direct messages. Bookmark verified pages once checked. Cross-check major changes through the website and @Soneium rather than relying on a single social post.

2. Read the Current Rules and Confirm Eligibility

Open the Terms of Soneium Score before connecting. Participants must be at least 18 or the higher age of majority in their jurisdiction, be capable of forming a contract, comply with applicable law and sanctions, and avoid prohibited conduct. SBS Labs may request information or supporting documents and may block a wallet, account or IP address. Do not use a VPN, proxy, borrowed identity or another wallet to evade a restriction.

3. Use a Dedicated Low-Value Wallet

Create or use a wallet that does not hold savings, high-value NFTs or broad approvals. Back up its seed phrase offline. Neither the Soneium portal, a featured project nor legitimate support needs the recovery phrase or private key. A separate wallet limits damage if a partner application, signature or browser extension is compromised, although it does not remove smart-contract risk.

There is no single fixed cost for Soneium Score. Connecting a wallet and reading the portal should not itself require an onchain fee, but most score-producing actions do. The total depends on Ethereum and Soneium gas, the chosen bridge, the assets involved, project mint prices, swap price impact and how much capital is exposed. The official $5 Startale swap minimum is trade size, not a statement that total participation costs only $5.

  • Bridge costs: source-chain gas, bridge fees and destination-chain gas funding can apply.

  • Soneium gas: each swap, GM, mint, approval, liquidity action and badge claim may consume ETH.

  • Swap costs: price impact, spread, protocol fees and unfavorable market movement can exceed gas.

  • NFT costs: a quest mint may have a purchase price plus gas; an NFT can lose all resale value.

  • Liquidity risk: deposits can face impermanent loss, smart-contract exploits, depegs and withdrawal constraints.

Sybil and Anti-Abuse Guidance

Soneium’s terms do not publish a simple “one wallet” scoring formula, but they prohibit fraudulent, misleading, abusive, security-compromising and unintended use, allow identity or compliance checks, and permit SBS Labs to block access. That is enough reason to avoid Sybil farming and artificial activity. No tactic can guarantee that a cluster of wallets will remain eligible for badges or any hypothetical future distribution.

Fake Token Claims and Allocation Checkers

No official Soneium fungible-token claim or airdrop checker was identified as of July 10, 2026. A page promising SONY, SONE, SONEIUM or another ticker is not legitimate merely because it copies the brand. Do not connect, sign or pay. An unexpected token in a wallet can be spam designed to lure you to a malicious URL.

Fake Badge Mint Pages

Scammers can exploit the real SBT program by opening counterfeit mint pages early. Season 12 badge eligibility requires the official threshold and staged minting. Navigate from portal.soneium.org, confirm the correct network, and reject unexplained Permit, Permit2, SetApprovalForAll, ownership-transfer or unlimited-spend requests.

Impersonated Support and Compromised Social Posts

Soneium published an official statement in August 2025 after information inconsistent with its position appeared on social platforms. It named @Soneium, the Soneium Announcement Telegram and official Discord as its announcement channels. Even then, verify high-impact claims across the website, portal and documentation. Support will not request a seed phrase, private key, screen-sharing session or “verification deposit.”

Guaranteed Airdrop or Paid Farming Services

No analyst, influencer, referral seller or automation service can guarantee a future allocation. Paid farming operations introduce custody, malware, account-linking and anti-abuse risks.
